My Visit with Maruge 2

With Maruge, we visited the Dorino Lessos Creameries Cheese Factory. The factory is hidden in the outlying part of town, next to a car wash (some buckets of water and some soap) and a construction site. It was an unappealing warehouse with a green painted sign. We talked to the owner of the factory, Nixon Kebeya. He was pleased to have visitors and he led us on a tour of the factory. The actual "factory" was a small room with a couple of old rusty machines from the 60's that still, just barely, get the job done. After our tour we went to their front counter to taste some cheese and buy some cheese and milk. I really enjoyed our visit at the factory, it was reassuring to see a business, though it was small, their staff and owner are still cheerful and delightful.
